Black Forest open-air museum Vogtsbauernhof
The goal of the museum is to teach visitors about the cultural history of all rural Black Forest regions and to guide them through the picturesque landscape.
On about 7 hectares the impressive Black Forest farms can be explored and you can get an idea of how people worked, lived and lived in the Black Forest during the last 600 years.
There are a total of 4 tours to choose from, which are varied and entertaining.
Multimedia guide with tour guide
With the help of the “Vogtsbauernhof” app, visitors can go on a discovery tour. Three different tours, for different target groups, are offered by the digital guide on your own cell phone. A shoutr.Boxx at the entrance of the Freitlichtsmuseum acts as a download station.
There you can download the app as well as the tour 1 and 3. After that, the app can be used without network coverage, as all the necessary information and multimedia content has already been loaded onto the visitors’ end devices.
The tour 2 can also be streamed online and offers still at home a nice memory of the Vogtsbauernhof.
Outdoor orientation via app
With the help of an interactive map and GPS switched on, visitors* navigate their way around the grounds of the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum. There are different thematic tours available, such as information about the individual houses, customs or craftsmen and their traditional work.
The own location and the route are displayed in the map. The different waypoints contain further additional information with pictures videos and texts and make the visit a special experience.
